The Cocaine Wheelchair
Dublin Airport, 2019. A man arrives in a wheelchair. He says he can't walk. Airport assistance staff push him through the terminal — the same way they push hundreds of other passengers every day. Nobody looks twice. Which is exactly what he was counting on.
The wheelchair was made of cocaine. Eleven kilograms of it — compressed, shaped, painted matte black, and engineered into a fully functional medical chair. Six hundred and fifty thousand euros worth of drugs, in the shape of a seat, being wheeled through the one building in the world specifically designed to inspect what people bring in.
Kit and Eden walk through how he got built, how he got caught, and the moment a customs officer asked him to stand up.
